Homebound visits

Did you know?

Every Friday, the pastor visits persons who are homebound or in nursing homes to bring them communion and offer the Anointing of the Sick. Contact the church office to be included on the visitation list.

Communion calls and home visits are excellent ways for homebound persons to remain connected to the parish and receive the loving care of fellow parishioners. Homebound members of Sacred Heart are mailed our weekly bulletin to remain connected to the parish family.

Persons who are homebound or are dealing with chronic illnesses can serve others by becoming prayer warriors. The prayers of persons who offer their sufferings for the sake of the Church perform an invaluable ministry for the salvation of souls. As St. Paul says, “Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I complete what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the Church”. (Col 1:24) Please pray for yourself, your family, your parish, your nation and the world. Your prayers help save souls!
